relationship rumors and celebrity baby recap.

Multiple rumors of celebrity relationships have surfaced in recent weeks, which have all been denied by the celebrities' agencies:

Two weeks ago, FRIDAY reported that actress Aya Hirayama (25) and Hey! Say! JUMP member Yuya Takaki (19) are dating. The two were seen last month having dinner in Shinjuku, then riding in a taxi together.
Actress Yukie Nakama (30) and actor Tetsushi Tanaka (43) are also said to be dating. They have worked together in three television dramas, including the currently airing "Untouchable."
The latest issue of FRIDAY says that KAT-TUN's Koki Tanaka (24) is involved with gravure idol Erina Takamatsu (23). The magazine published photos of the two at Narita Airport right before they left for Hawaii. Tanaka's management explained that they were just part of a group of friends traveling to Hawaii for another friend's wedding.
This week's issue of Josei Seven ran pictures of NEWS member Tomohisa Yamashita (24) and actress Keiko Kitagawa (23) together outside a restaurant. Rumors about the two have been around since their student days at Meiji University, and the rumors had resurfaced when they were chosen as co-stars in Fuji TV's "Buzzer Beat" last season. It was later rumored that Yamashita was dating fashion model Seira Kagami (22), though it is said that the two have broken up.
The same issue of Josei Seven claims that actor Tetsuji Tamayama (29) and actress Chiaki Kuriyama (25) have been dating since spring. They both appeared in the movie "Hagetaka" that opened in June.

Several celebrity childbirths were reported in the news earlier this month:

Actress Hikaru Nishida (37) gave birth to her second child on October 30. She now has two sons.
Comedian Reiji Nakagawake (37) became a father on November 5 when his wife gave birth to their first daughter.
The wife of talento Takeshi Tsuruno (34) gave birth to their fourth child on November 6. This is their third daughter.
Recently wed actor Ryuta Sato (29) also became a father. His wife gave birth to their first daughter on November 10.
On November 15, talento Mihoko Abe (34) gave birth to her second son.
Sukima Switch's Takuya Ohashi (31) announced on November 17 that his wife had gave birth to their first child, a daughter.

Student Beaten to Death by Classmates

URUMA, Okinawa -- Five junior high school students have been arrested for allegedly beating a classmate to death, police said on Friday.

The five students -- all aged 14 and whose names are being withheld under the Juvenile Law -- are accused of inflicting bodily injury resulting in the death of Hoshito Yonemori, 14.

Three other students, all aged 13, were also taken into custody on the same charges over the incident. All the eight students have reportedly admitted to the allegations.

According to Uruma Police Station, the students punched and kicked Yonemori at a vacant lot in Uruma, Okinawa Prefecture, around 5 to 8 p.m. on Nov. 17. Yonemori died from hemorrhagic shock at around 3 a.m. the following day.

Police allege that four of the eight students then carried the limp Yonemori to a supermarket about hundreds of meters away before calling an ambulance. By the time it arrived, Yonemori was already in cardiac and respiratory arrest.

The four had initially told police that they were playing together on the rooftop of a prefabricated hut when they saw Yonemori jump off the roof, landing on his back on a concrete block that was left below, the students were quoted as telling police.

However, an autopsy found that the victim had died from hemorrhagic shock, with bruises all over his body. One of them eventually admitted having attacked Yonemori, and the four later confessed to trying to cover up the incident.

AKB48 grace the MAMA, 2PM's Taecyeon is caught interested

Japanese girlband AKB48 joins in the fun in the MNET Asian Music Awards where they performed their latest single River. Provided, they matched up with a good performance with great dancing as we see a curious Taecyeon of 2PM counting how many girls are there. Abruptly, he gets caught off guard when he sees himself being filmed as he does this. If you are wondering how AKB48 got themselves int o the event, it is because the head of their company is actually Korean.

I love language facts.

A sentence containing nine ways the spelling 'ough' can be pronounced:

One really has to wonder why English spelling has to be so difficult. Actually, this reminds me of an I Love Lucy skit where Ricky was trying to read a children's books with just this very problem.
I admit I don't know how to pronounce Scarborough properly, but still.

So. Writing.

je_hols is occupying my brain right now. I've just broken 4000 words, which is more sizable already than I expected, but I don't know if I'm half done, a fourth done, or what. It's ridiculous; I have no way of predicting how long this fic is going to be.

Thankfully I have two more days of a three-day weekend to work on it without much interruption excepting my own distraction.

I don't know what to think about this fic, though, to be very honest. I'm excited about some aspects of it, but I'm writing outside of my comfort zone, and I think it might show. But that's okay--I can't improve if I don't challenge myself, right?

Speaking of which, I was very glad for that recent concrit meme. I didn't get a great amount of crit, but I was really happy that people did openly and politely concrit each other. I've always thought fandom would benefit from such things. Maybe in a year or so, we could have another?

One thing that people did say, though, was that they'd like to see me write other pairings. I'm all sorts of down for that, but I gotta admit, I'm not too confident about it. And, while I would love to add to the pool of fics about Aiba/Jun, I also feel like they have a lot of lovely, memorable fiction written for them, while other pairings don't have the same luck. So I may attempt some Sakuraba, Aimiya, or Sakumiya first. (Okay, Sakumiya gets a lot of love too, but I kind of love it a lot.) ... Looking at those pairings, I realize I'm neglecting poor Ohno and Jun. Hmn.

Yamapi concert highlights report

Hi, I just got back from the first concert for today and meant to write a quick and short report of what I felt were the highlights of the concert for me but it ended up being much longer than I planned. Sasaki Nozomi in a fling with a Thai Johnny

Rumor has it that “Mike” Piratch Nithipaisarnkul of “Golf Mike” is no longer single because he’s currently in love with a hot Japanese model.

One source revealed that her name is Sasaki Nozomi, a model for Pinky Magazine in Japan as well as a presenter and actress. However another source is saying Nozomi is only an old fling and Mike broke up with her recently.
